I'm working on a brand new version of the Firefly with substantially more gusto.

However, the current Firefly in this repo uses BLECast, which cannot carry payloads large enough for UTXO-based coins. A great deal of thought must go into a lot of the low-level aspects on platforms which only have 2,048 bytes of RAM, so it is not easy to just add a coin. :)

@ricmoo I don't want to be rude, but would it be possible to run this on something like a BeagleBone Black? It might be a bit thick (plus expensive), and probably won't be very easy to travel with, but it has up to 4 GB of RAM. Plus, unlike the PIs it only requires non-free software for GPU which can be done on the CPU.
