There is a cool new (draft?) standard to do user-spoofing on IRC servers supporting it (Ergo aka Oragono) that has been recently implemented in Matterbridge:
42wim/matterbridge#1339

I think that would also be a cool addition to this bot, so that messages from different sources could be styled as different (fake) bot users.

At least for Matterbridge it works really nicely on a Ergo IRCd.
