The user should be able to move the node cursor with the cursor keys, and open a directory/pick a file with the return key.

Mouse buttons 4 and 5 should also be able to be used to go back and forth.

Edit - All planned changes summarized here:

Move node cursor with cursor keys
Open a directory or pick a file with the return key
Search the current directory by pressing any key from A to Z
Open the path edit by pressing / (and maybe \ on Windows)
Go back and forth with mouse buttons 4 and 5
