Menu bar submenus collapsing after ~ 1 second

Describe the Bug

When attempting to navigate the Pangolin client menu bar icon's settings, for instance to access the Pangolin client's preferences, when the submenu is expanded, it disappears within around 1 second. It takes multiple attempts and fast clicking to successfully click on any option within the submenus.

Environment

To Reproduce

Click the Pangolin icon in the menu bar, and expand a submenu (e.g. your Site name, or More). After ~1 second, the submenu will collapse.

Expected Behavior

The submenu should remain visible until either an option is chosen, or a different root level menu item is chosen.

Hi there, we are aware of this issue and are working on a fix for the next release. It has to do with re-rendering based on the status polling which happens every 1 second for a period of time on startup.

I made some changes to prevent the menu re-render issue. Should be available in the next release pretty soon.
