Currently, to use the current lims for coils, you need to pass limits only for the active coils. If you pass more limits than the number of active coils, the later coils will not be used.
In this merge, it is required that you pass current limits for all coils, even if they are not controlled. Then, whenever a coil is controlled, the relevant limits are retrieved from the list.
