It seems that a lot of what we are trying to accomplish is overlapping with the Solid project

Making the Photos app 'Solid compatible' would mean that any dev. in the solid ecosystem could write an app to leverage BOX customer's data. It also seems in line with our principles of 'zero lock-in'.
