Starter app for using Soapbox

New Site¶ ↑

• duplicate this folder

• git remote rm origin - detach it from this repo

• update config files - especially s3 bucket - create s3 bucket manually

• comment config/*.yml from .gitignore so your settings push to heroku

• bundle install - install soapbox

• rails g soapbox_migration

• rake db:migrate

• heroku create appname - and/or - heroku create appname-staging

• heroku stack:migrate bamboo-ree-1.8.7

• heroku rake db:migrate

• heroku addons:add custom_domains

• heroku domains:add productiondmain.com

• git push heroku master

• rails s - start up development

• rails g soapbox_scaffold post title:string body:text released_at:datetime - build new plugins
