This document corresponds to Step 2: Metadata transformation of the Metadata Handbook, but with step by step instructions to walk through the process of acquiring the metadata via different methods. The purpose of this process is to transform other metadata formats into spreadsheets, which are stored in -ArcGIS Portals or -Socrata Portals folder in Google Drive depending on the metadata schema: ArcGIS Open Data Portals (HUB) and Socrata.
To keep the BTAA Geoportal search tool from returning broken links and to capture newly added resources due to the instability of data sources, it is necessary to re-check data portals frequently.
