Description

If a selected item is still loading in the media editor and a user applies it the media editor will be not available anymore.

This is visible on the GeoNode integration when loading heavy images from the resources catalog:

2.mov

How to reproduce

  • create a geostory
  • select and image from the catalog
  • click on apply before the loading phase is completed

Expected Result

The apply button should not be available if the resource is not ready

Current Result

The apply button is available and after clicking it the Media editor does not work anymore
