The next release will be 3.10.0 once some more PRs finally got reviewed.

I'm hoping this month, but that depends on how much time the other maintainers have to review PRs.

#1813 definitely has to go in and is waiting for a review. There are some more PRs which would be nice to get in (some are mostly ready and will likely make it in), but in the worst case can also wait for another release.
