What

Welcome to Gitcoin Team's Hackathon Bounty Grab Bag!

Pick any of these issues and start working on it to participate:

#91 - ZKRollup ERC20 token
#93 - Kudos Game
#94 - Kudos Slackbot
gitcoinco/web#4157 - dev q&a on gitcoin
gitcoinco/web#4158 - new gitcoin grant types
#95 - ethereum comunity signal measurement
gitcoinco/web#3080 - on demand technical mentorship
gitcoinco/web#4159 - hourly contracts
#96 - Burner Wallet Game

apprenticeship idea from gabe — work on ways to pair people with a hackathon in the community

How it works

Team Gitcoin would like to see progress on any of the above during the Ethereal hackathon. We are prepared to offer the following prizes to participants in our hackathon bounties:

first prize: $3.5k
second prize: $2k
third prize: $1k

honorable mention: $500

For a total of $7k in prize dispursements

To participate

  1. Click 'Start Work' on the Gitcoin bounty.
  2. Recruit a teammate in the discord or slack channels (or go solo)
  3. Comment on the github thread you're working on and let us know any questions, or just say hi! 👋
  4. Submit your hack by April 30th to be considered for the prizes.

@owocki Are the prizes per issue? Or is it like eg., 1st place prize goes to Kudos Game and 2nd place goes to Kudos Slackbot, etc.?

I am interested to work on "on demand technical mentorship" project.

Start reading about the solidity language and build smart contracts based on the requirements of the gitcoin issues. Find a team mate to work on the eth hackathon. And submit the product before 30th April
4) kirkballou has started work.

Working on gitcoinco/web#3080 with "AirBNB for Devs" or could also be called "Devs On-Demand" using Blockstack + Github + Calendly and Zoom.

5) tenthirtyone has started work.

I'll work on the slackbot integration for kudos
6) zillerium has started work.

  1. Metamask integration into a web UI for ERC20 functions
  2. Development of the smart contract using Remix
  3. Develop Layer 2 (To be determined)
  4. Testing - compare two systems with and without zkrollup to determine the cost savings
  5. Possible simulation of large txn numbers using a nodejs implementation and infura and then an API call which we can loop to test how the savings can be effected for larger txn numbers, eg 10 txns.
    7) eccheung4 has started work.

It was a hard decision to make bc each of the submissinos were super good... but here is where I landed on prizes:
