task: production readiness and performance audit #21
Description
This issue tracks work to investigate the entire codebase of this project and look for anything that might be of an impact to production readiness related to the following:
- performance
- cpu/memory usage
- speed
- security
- potential bugs or edge cases
If any changes are needed, they should be made to ensure that this service (Hooks) is production ready and reliable. Any changes that are meaningful should be made note of in a new docs/reliability.md file.
