Slow startup with 124 notes totalling 485,000 lines

This is my growing catalogue of vintage software CDs contents.

• 124 txt files
• 485,000 total lines
• UTF-16LE
• ach file has between 7 and 21000 lines

FSNotes handles them "OK", but startup is very slow ~9 seconds

I can share a zip of the files if you want to play around @glushchenko

If there's anything that can be done I'll file an issue, but I understand this may be an extreme edge case.

I redid the notes (actually generated directory listings):

• 108 txt files
• 216,000 total lines
• UTF-8

Startup ~4 seconds

what happens at startup, why so slow with this many notes?

I would expect only directory listing to happen at startup?
