Vulnerability Reported for the secret used for slack notifications in appveyor.yml:26 by Gitleaks Secret Detection

[fredbi]

appveyor used to run our CI on windows. This has now been handed over to githb actions.
We need to remove this deprecated CI file and then close this issue.
