Uber and Lyft are the major companies that provides a technological platform to request on-demand near real time services from smart-phone. In this project, we aim to predict the cab ride prices of this ride sharing applications, through machine learning techniques and statistical methods. And, by analyzing the data, we may able to find the factors, that determine the surge in the price, reveal correlations, discover trends and therefore obtain meaningful conclusions from the analysis.
