feed2mobi - subscribe feeds, fetch feeds, generate .mobi, deliver to your mailbox

This project includes a simple web UI to subscribe feeds and set delivery options and a commond line to fetch feeds, generate and deliver .mobi file.

It’s designed for Kindle user to wireless sync feeds to their device or programs.

Requirement

• lxml: parse RSS, Atom xml and HTML
• python-openid: OpenID authentication module
• web.py: database interface and web UI
• python: 2.6, 2.7
• mutt: to send mail

Installation

• Use cron to run code.py --update periodically for syncing feeds.
• Use cron to run code.py --kindlegen to generate .mobi and delivery to mailbox
• Use code.py [PORT] to run simple web UI
