TL;DR

#186 separated stdout and stderr streams into files to ensure the streams don't clobber in output. But now we have to wait until the process exits to see any of the output (versus previously where it was live streamed).

Through a combination of tee and shell redirections, we should be able to simultaneously stream stderr and stdout to the log while also keeping them separate in log files for capture and printing later.
