You can use go bug to have a cool, automatically filled out bug template, or
fill out the template below.

Describe the bug

I have no straightforward way of knowing which wire version I have installed

To Reproduce

wire -v
wire --version
wire version
wire --help
wire -h

Expected behavior

At least some subset of the invocations above should report version
