Project details. Nevi (moles) are common anomolies of the skin and are composed of the same cells responsible for producing pigment. Moles are a concern as they have the potential to become the site of melanoma, a common cancer of the skin.
Green group is developing an application to detect whether a nevus is progressing into melanoma using readily available technologies to the public.
Requirements
- Android Studio
- (Optional) Have an android phone for emulation.
How to run the DangerMole
- Download or clone the repository.
- Start a new project.
- Download and start android emulation of your choice.
- (Optional)
- Your own android device.
- Make sure you have developers settings up.
Quick access to all the features the application provides
When clicked to take picture it produces the probability, and time stamps the picture
Gallery is to view all previous taken picture with time stamp and proability attached to it.
When location permission is granted, it will show the nearest local clinics in your area.
Tells you what this project was about, also giving links to our Github and an ISIC website to learn more about the moles.
When clicked will show a bubble ontop of the activity, that will show the intent of the project.
