Description

Clients who meet the HUD definition of Chronically Homeless at a Point-in-Time as outlined in the HMIS Glossary. Calculated using self-report data from entry assessments.

The HUD Chronic Report uses the Simple Universe Selection.

Calculation Notes

  • As noted in the description, this uses HUD's calculation for determining if a client is chronically homeles at a point in time. As this is an expensive calculation, it is only calculated twice a month.
  • Data for the chronic calculation is collected from the entire installation and may expand beyond what a given user is able to see
