Is anybody still maintaining this project, as the latest commit activity I can see is from 1 year ago.

@gsscoder is the only person with commit privileges. I haven't seen him here or on Twitter since late 2013.

For information, I have created a fork integrating most pull requests, and I have published nuget packages for the 1.9 and 2.0 versions : https://github.com/cosmo0/commandline

I emailed Giacomo a couple of weeks ago but I haven't heard anything back. I hope he's just sworn off the internet or something, but it's clear that this project needs a new maintainer.

@tbroust-trepia / @cosmo0's fork is probably the best approach from this point forward.

This does, however, make me feel less guilty about shilling my own parser, clipr ;)
It's similar to commandline in function, but modeled after Python's argument parsing library and has a few extra features (better support for value/positional arguments, among other things).

You made me realize that I should add a "project status" part in the readme of my fork. It's now done.

I have linked to your project, as well as ManyConsoles. If you know other similar projects, I will gladly add them too.
