documentation: project history

i love to read about the history of a project.
would someone like to take a stab at writing up the evolution of h5bp?

Are you thinking of having it be more of a point by point / factual documentation, or a narrative / story about the project?

narrative is nice. as long as we don't lose the datapoints. but that's pleasant . :)

through it all, and I made a few minor changes, but I think it's pretty
