  • Project lead from 311 data is coming to recruit a new UX designer for their team.
  • New Practice announcement: Roll Call, Experience Profile, New member introduction on the channel,
  • Maile, Hack for LA alumni, will be joining next week and share her experience
  • New member will join breakout room
  • 2FA and make Hack for LA repo public
  • Check in-progress project and assign reviewers if ready

Discuss the following items:

  1. Six Month Roadmap (work in progress)
    Once we have someone with a UX profile and some work done for HfLA volunteer to be a demonstration for the Linkedin workshop.

  2. Survey for gathering feedback regarding CoP meeting (to be review with Bonnie)
    Needs HfLA logo and brand
    Change background to align with HfLA
    Why did we choose that color scheme?
    Create a communication guide for UX CoP
    What is the CoP's goal? "We want to hear your feedback to better improve our ability to build a community." (Edit intro)
    Rather than types of topic, what types of events?
    Create a UX research plan for improving CoP. (Not mandatory)
    Ask volunteers what timezone that they are in? Might have impact rather volunteer likes or dislikes event.
    When formulating questions, it is best practice to ask about previous experience rather than what volunteer would do.

  3. Changing meeting time for Tuesday's meeting.
    Tues at 12 pm PT not possible
    New time suggestion:
    1 pm PT on Wednesday
