Description

Currently it is not possible to automatically install the provider via terraform init when on darwin/arm64:

Error: Incompatible provider version

Provider registry.terraform.io/hashicorp/time v#.#.# does not have a package
available for your current platform, darwin_arm64.

Provider releases are separate from Terraform CLI releases, so not all
providers are available for all platforms. Other versions of this provider may
have different platforms supported.

As a workaround, it is possible to manually compile and install provider for darwin/arm64 support.

It appears this provider was mostly upgraded for Go 1.16 support previously and that it might just need a bump in the .go-version file with a release.

$ curl -s 'https://registry.terraform.io/v1/providers/hashicorp/time/versions' | jq '.versions[] | select(.version == "0.7.0")'

We are looking to enable darwin/arm64 releases in Terraform CLI soon.

The `.go-version` file is used for releases currently, unless the parameter is manually updated during release job submission.
