Currently the openstack provider requires OS_USERNAME and OS_PASSWORD. It would be nice if it also supported OS_AUTH_TOKEN.

Is this not working for you? https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/openstack/index.html#api_key

Or are you just asking for the api_key config to be overridable/settable via that env var?
