Proposed change

Fix some additional test cases to be compatible with Python 3.12.

These changes are necessary due to subtle behavior changes in CPython. Some might consider them breaking changes, however it was argued that the current implementation was jank / broken, so these should be considered bug fixes.

For the hassio test, it's a change of the asyncio.Server.wait_closed behavior which is used by aiohttp

The script tests, a small refactor in asyncio.wait_for

Type of change

  • Dependency upgrade
  • Bugfix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New integration (thank you!)
  • New feature (which adds functionality to an existing integration)
  • Deprecation (breaking change to happen in the future)
  • Breaking change (fix/feature causing existing functionality to break)
  • Code quality improvements to existing code or addition of tests
