Unfortunately, newer versions have other issues. We have downgraded to this version (from 2.2.0.3) previously after causing major issues for us. We are awaiting an upstream fix. Setting up with a username space, could possibly be done, but is not a supported, documented or tested use case by the Home Assistant project. As said, this bump will do more harm for us, thus will close this PR. |

My Docker setup is using user namespaces, but I have it disabled with --userns=host for Home Assistant to use host networking and access usb devices. This worked fine up until v.0.116.4 (no idea why).

I found just-containers/s6-overlay#309, which looks like it's this issue. This was fixed in s6-overlay v2.2.0.0.
