Make new-inline-tags and new-blocklevel-tags functional in XML mode

Sorry if this is already an option, but i can't find it. I would like this to have the ability to maintain fine-grained control over indentation of inline and block-level tags while in XML mode. Many thanks!

Not a bad idea. I'll leave this open for comments, and in the meantime I'll assign it to 5.7, which we should start working on at the end of December. As we're getting ready for an official release next week, I don't think this will make it in.
