Microsoft R Open

This chocolatey package is for Microsoft R Open. Microsoft R Open is the enhanced distribution of R from Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft R Open is a complete open source platform for statistical analysis and data science, which is free to download and use. The current version, Microsoft R Open 3.4.4, is based on (and 100% compatible with) the statistical language, R-3.4.4, and includes additional capabilities for performance, reproducibility and platform support. Prerequisites

There are no prequisistes for installing Microsoft R Open. Just make sure Chocolatey is installed on the machine.

Installing

To install Microsoft R Open, run PowerShell as admin and then type the following command:

choco install microsoft-ropen

Uninstalling

To uninstall Microsoft R Open, run PowerShell as admin and then type the following command:

choco uninstall microsoft-ropen

Deployment

This software is installed under C:\Program Files\Microsoft\R Open
