Use buildem to compile ilastik and all its dependencies on Linux. Usage:
> mkdir <ilastik_build_dir>
> cd <ilastik_build_dir>
> git clone https://github.com/ilastik/ilastik-build-Linux.git
> mkdir build
> cd build
> cmake ../ilastik-build-Linux -DBUILDEM_DIR=<ilastik_build_dir>
> make help # (Optional: View the list of targets)
> make # or 'make -j8' for parallel builds
> make package # to create a 'ilastik-0.6.a-Linux.tar.gz' binary installer
Note: Parallel builds (using -j8) can sometimes cause certain sub-projects (e.g. pyqt) to fail to build. If you experience any build failures, try a non-parallel build.
The cmake step supports the following additional cache variables:
-DILASTIK_HEADLESS_ONLY=1
(Builds the "headless" ilastik and its dependencies. Does not build qt, vtk, etc.)-DCPLEX_ROOT_DIR=/path/to/cplex
(Required for building libraries that need CPLEX, such as pgmlink.)-DPACKAGE_WITH_CPLEX=OFF
(Exclude CPLEX libraries from the tarball produced in themake package
step.)-DWITH_ATLAS=0
(Use OpenBLAS instead of ATLAS.)
