Releases: inferno-collection/Fire-Alarm
Public Alpha Version 4.6
DO NOT BLINDLY UPDATE // THIS IS A DEVELOPMENT BUILD
Important Note: As mentioned below, the structure of the JSON files have changed, as such, if you wish to use your existing files, you will need to edit them. NO SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED FOR UPDATING JSON FILES AT THIS TIME. A tutorial/Wiki Page will be created once the update is ready to move to the master branch. If you test this resource in your server, please report back to us! We have not thoroughly tested this update and would appreciate your feedback.
Added:
-
Dynamic text to the control panels.
- Information can now be sent to the control panel, which means less images, which means less to download.
-
New access system to log into a control panel.
- You now need to use the menu to select an access level, and enter the passcode accordingly.
-
Walk test feature to panels.

-
Beep sound when you click a button on a panel.
Changed:
-
JSON File layout for control panels and Call points.
- The new layout allows for a location to be added to pull stations, which is displayed on the control panel once you go to acknowledge the alarm.
-
The way the audio system works, to allow for multiple alarms to be sounded at once.
- Whereas before only one Alarm could be activated at one time, now multiple can be activated at once, at different places across the map.
-
Several changes to the backend code, so the resource runs much faster.
-
The panel system so multiple panels can be used at once.
- Whereas in the past only one panel on the entire map could be used at one time, now any number can be used.
-
The alarm sound to a new voice over.
Removed:
- Unused images.
Public Beta Version 4.5
Added:
- Fire/EMS Pager integration has arrived! Define which tones will be paged per alarm, in the
control-panels.json
file. If none are defined, default ones set in theclient.lua
will be used. - Control-panels can now have their own unique passcode; set in the
control-panels.json
file. If one is not defined, a default one set inserver.lua
will be used. - There is now an interaction animation when activating a call-point, and when using a control-panel.
Public Beta Version 4.46
Fixed an issue where the resource was requesting the objects from the server every single time a resource was started, instead of just one time, when the Fire Alarm resource was started. This issued caused intense server strain, resulting in Rage Crashes
, and texture issues on large servers (i.e. servers with hundreds of resources).
Public Beta Version 4.45
Inferno Collection: Fire Alarm
Public Beta Version 4.45
The Fire Alarm resource adds both fire alarms, manual call-points/pull-stations, and fire control pannels into your server. By default, the resource comes with one location, the Mission Row police station, which contains a handfull of call-points, and a control-panel, however, the resource allows and encourages you to add more, though easy to use JSON files.
The call-points and control panel consist of non-networked objects, with each control panel having an openable NUI. From the NUI, the player has access to menu options; when the fire alarm for that building has been activated, the player has the ability to silence the sounders, and/or reset the alarm for the building.
Presently, the following can be customized:
- Location of manual call-points and control panels.
- Number of call-points per control pannel.
- Passcode required to access control panels.
- The area within which the alarm can be heard once sounded.
