Version 3.6.0 is not correctly loaded

Yesterday afternoon the known issue appeared, VSC didn't worked with IRIS.
Error command 'vscode-objectscript.compileOnlyWithFlags' not found appered . When i returned back to 3.4.0. all works fine.

Hi @zvondic, everything is working fine. That command was removed intentionally. See #1710. We have removed some barely used commands and configuration settings to lower the extension's footprint and maintenance costs. The extension developed organically over a long period of time and that has led to a lot of duplicate code and functionality. You can use the regular compile commands. The objectscript.compileFlags setting can be used to change the flags.

Hi @isc-bsaviano , sorry but i was mistaken :-(
When i return version 3.6.0 and restarted VSC, connection to IRIS frozen and it behaves strangely. I can't load document from IRIS, don't compile nothing.
I returned to 3.4.0 and all works fine.
I don't know what is wrong.

Hi @zvondic, unfortunately that log isn't helpful. I can see you're connected to a recent server version but nothing else appears to be happening. Can you share a screenshot or recording of what you are seeing please?

My opinion is that this problem is causes with not ended run of nodejs process. Before start VScode there is no CPU usage on linux server side. When i start VSCode some node js process appears on the top of process and VSC is frozen until it end run. It takes about 4 minutes. Than all seems in VSCode works fine.

@zvondic Thanks for the screenshots. This is really strange; I've never seen that before. If you get a network trace using Wireshark does it appear that the REST request is talking a log time to complete? Unfortunately the server manager doesn't have debug logging. Are you running out of licenses and the request is hanging waiting for a license?

In my opining, removing compile with flags command from menu was not a good idea. Whilst it might not be used so frequently, it is used and very useful when working with a larger projects with many classes that have a lot of dependencies (e.g. via inheritance). Many times it is just necessary to compile only a given clas and not base classes, or subclasses, often when classes are using code generator methods or custom projections. Ability to set compile flags directly during compile invocation can be very handy. I strongly vote for bringting this one back to menu.

As Daniel written, it is very frequently used command for our development project. I very often change ck/ckb flags for compiling.
