How can I build a working FSAC with my local FCS?

Actually I have tried to add a ProjectReference of the compiler to FsAutoComplete.fsproj, and it built successfully. But when I use it in VSCode Ionide, the FSAC throws exceptions all the time, and shows no auto completion or highlight.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

We're going to need A LOT more detail to help you here. We'll need outputs from the F# output pane in VSCode, and it would help to know

• How you configured your Ionide install to use your custom FSAC
• A link to your fork/branch of FSAC with the FCS changes applied

Some screenshots of your editor and the outputs would help as well! More data of any kind would be good here.
