@lgierth this is a follow up on the things about service workers I talked with you about :)
Here is an issue that may be relevant (or not), where I spotted a serious slowdown on Chrome when using a tab on the background: ipfs/js-ipfs#840
@pgte I believe that is an extra motivation to use a service worker and one more reason why we need WebRTC enabled on them.
