If you only want to use player.py, you can skip this part.
However, in order to use mandarinizer.py, you need to have opencv-python installed. To install the package:
pip install opencv-python

Mandarinize an image file, a video file or a webcam stream.
optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
--version show program's version number and exit
-inv, --invert invert the color of the frame
-p, --preview toggle preview
-f, --flip toggle the vertical flip of the frame
-s, --space add a space between every two characters
-w WIDTH, --width WIDTH
specify the width of the output
-fps FRAMERATE, --framerate FRAMERATE
specify the frames per second
-d {2,4,8,16}, --depth {2,4,8,16}
specify the color depth
-c CHARACTER [CHARACTER ...], --character CHARACTER [CHARACTER ...]
specify a list of characters by the order of indensity
-v VIDEO, --video VIDEO
path to the video file
-i IMAGE [IMAGE ...], --image IMAGE [IMAGE ...]
paths to the image files
-o OUT, --out OUT path to the ouput file
