This reverts commit e29070c.
The previous commit applied two patches where only one was needed. Patch taken from http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=97983#p686670 and adapted to current source. All credit for the actual fix goes to "koos" on the Raspberry Pi forums.

Basically the same as #3, but with the first referenced patch unapplied again. Tested on RPi2 and found working. I have no idea while a previous attempt with just the second patch (which I tested initially) did not work, must have gotten something mixed up while testing.
