I'm conflicted between being able to run the project locally and on Docker; as Docker is essentially my development environment it means adding a lot of extra code to inject certain env variables depending on running locally or with Docker.
I've decided not to include these changes as I think I need to let go of local development and try to focus on container development, seeing as this is the environment I will be sharing with everyone however, if this proves to be annoying I will think of a way of having both environments.
