2.0.0 beta 1

A more or less complete rewrite with the dependency on sails.io.js removed. This has all of the 1.x features plus tons more to make it a complete replacement of angular's $http (so you can effortlessly switch from http requests to sockets!). So if you can do it with $http, you can do it with $sails.

Note: This is a beta release and is bound to have issues. Tests have been created to better ensure the quality of the code but some cases may not have been covered. If you run into issues, please create a new issue on GitHub and specify version 2.0.0-beta.1.
