A Google Chrome extension that helps users block news articles and websites related to war, conflict, and other distressing topics.

- Download or clone this repository.
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner of the Extensions page.
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the repository folder you downloaded or cloned in step 1.
- The War and Conflict News Blocker extension should now be installed and active in your browser.
The extension automatically blocks web pages containing keywords related to war, conflict, and military. A blocked page will be replaced with a custom "Blocked Page" message. The user has the option to temporarily unblock the page or add it to a whitelist. The extension popup allows users to manage their whitelist, including adding new sites and removing sites.
