1. install Homebrew: http://brew.sh/
2. brew install yarn
from the root of the git repo:
3. yarn install
4. ./node_modules/.bin/typings install
5. yarn run webpack
6. (in a separate terminal) yarn start

to debug in vscode
1. install https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=msjsdiag.debugger-for-chrome
2. in the debug pane, click the play button

to run the wrapper generator
$ yarn run gen
