jemlistevent unfinished does not show events of today

I just realized that the plugin “jemlistevent” with the setting type=unfinished only shows the future events but not those of today, which is what it should do.

There are more things to test! and perhaps to declare otherwise:

"upcoming" doesn't show me events from today, which are not yet started.
"unfinished" shows me events from today, which are not yet started.

You are right, it works only correct with the dates, but not with time:

How it should be:
"upcoming" – everything in the future, even just one minute away, which has not started yet
"unfinished" – like "upcoming", additionally including events which have started but are not finished yet.

It would actually be quite good to have another category like "Current events" or "ongoing events", i.e. those that have started but have not yet finished, without the future events.

@mckillo: Can you give me an hint how to create the second tab "description". I could not figure it out yet

Joomla automatically truncates descriptions longer than 500 characters to 250 characters and adds a 'Read more' link that directs users to the new description tab.

UPDATE: This description should be in the manual web of this plugin (JEM website), but there is not manual page for plugin.
