#Getting and Cleaning Data
This repository contains one R script run_analysis.R
. It solves the Coursera's Getting and Cleaning Data course projet described below.
Here are the data for the project:

You should create one R script called run_analysis.R that does the following.
- Merges the training and the test sets to create one data set.
- Extracts only the measurements on the mean and standard deviation for each measurement.
- Uses descriptive activity names to name the activities in the data set
- Appropriately labels the data set with descriptive variable names.
- From the data set in step 4, creates a second, independent tidy data set with the average of each variable for each activity and each subject.
- Download and extract https://d396qusza40orc.cloudfront.net/getdata%2Fprojectfiles%2FUCI%20HAR%20Dataset.zip. You should have a directory named
UCI HAR Dataset
. - set the working directory to the parent directory of
UCI HAR Dataset
- source
run_analysis.R
. It should add an runAnalysis function to your environment. - Call runAnalysis() function. It will create the requested tidy data file
tidy_data_set.txt
in your working directory. You can also pass a file name argument to runAnalysis to change the output file name.
