When converting Markdown (with those HTML tags) or HTML to docx, I notice that ins and del are ignored. I think they should be interpreted too, because although they are not common in HTML, they are in text processors.

<del> is already parsed correctly in the HTML reader.

I've joined the pandoc party a little late but from what I can tell there has been ample discussion about adding an underline element to the AST. The consensus seems to be that this isn't going to happen any time soon. Without this element, it is not clear how to correctly interpret <ins> as far as I can tell.

Does this answer your question?

Hi,
Some clarifications. I ment Pandoc should support those tags in MS Word.
After I posted that, I read that Pandoc doesn't parse HTML in other
formats (sorry for not realising it before). And yes, that message
answers my dump question. Thanks for answering. I gues a combination of
bold and italic or post-editing will do the trick.
