Legacy Imported Issues

Jim Radford edited this page Sep 25, 2015 · 3 revisions

Welcome! When we migrated from Google Code we imported all the existing issues in the google issue tracker. This turns out has made it difficult to correspond with the original person reporting the issue. So to fix this we are going to Close all existing issues that either:

  • Issue appears to be solved in a later version of SuperPuTTY or Solution was provided in Issue Comments
  • Need more information from the original reporter or other commenters
  • Are reported against old versions of SuperPuTTY
  • Where we are unable to reproduce reliably in the current version of SuperPuTTY

All hope is not lost! We still want to fix the issues. So what we ask of you is to open a new issue in the GitHub issue tracker, Feel free to reference the original issue (Just putting Related to Issue #XXX in the new issue report will provide a link back to the original issue).

Please verify your issue exists in the current release version of SuperPuTTY and Make sure to:

  1. Provide the Version of SuperPutty you are using
  2. Provides Steps to Reproduce the issue
  3. Include any screen captures or logs you can that will help us reproduce the issue
  4. Provide Expectations, for example What you thought SHOULD have happened.

Thank you for your efforts!

Jim
