RPi Rasbian strech Qt5.11.2 install

Check version

$sudo apt update
$sudo apt upgrade
$lsb_release -a
    Distributor ID:	Raspbian
    Description:	Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.4 (stretch)
    Release:	9.4
    Codename:	stretch

$sudo rpi-update
$uname -a
    Linux rpi3Bplus 4.14.79-v7+ #1159 SMP Sun Nov 4 17:50:20 GMT 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux

Download and install prebuild Qt5.11.2 (minimum)

cd ~
wget https://github.com/tranter/raspberry-pi-qt-builds/releases/download/v0.3-beta/Qt5.11.2-RaspberryPi3-bin-minimum.tgz
wget https://github.com/tranter/raspberry-pi-qt-builds/releases/download/v0.3-beta/QtCreator4.7.2-Qt5.11.2-RaspberryPi3-bin.tgz

cd /
sudo tar xvf /home/pi/Qt5.11.2-RaspberryPi3-bin-minimum.tgz
sudo tar xvf /home/pi/QtCreator4.7.2-Qt5.11.2-RaspberryPi3-bin.tgz

Edit path in ~/.bashrc

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/Qt5.11.2/lib
PATH=/usr/local/Qt5.11.2/bin:$PATH

Install Qt5 required packages

Install ROS melodic

install ROS Melodic (Debian): http://wiki.ros.org/melodic/Installation/Debian http://asukiaaa.blogspot.com/2018/06/raspberry-pi-raspbianstretchrosmelodic.html

Open “/etc/dphys–swapfile” using “sudo nano”, edit CONF_SWAPSIZE variable (change 100MB to 1024MB): ... # CONF_SWAPSIZE=100 CONF_SWAPSIZE=1024 Now we need to activate new swap space:

$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile stop
$ sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile start

Note: After installing ROS, MUST change swap space from 1024 to 100.
