Steps to Reproduce

  1. add new feed on FreshRSS
  2. on Capy, pull to refresh

Expected behavior

I expected the new feeds and articles to sync after pull to refresh, but they don't.

I had added about 10 new feeds, and only 4 showed up after some time, though I’m not sure what triggered it. They didn't when I first refreshed the feed.

A workaround is to clear the app data, which ensures everything syncs properly. I checked the crash logs and couldn't find anything relevant.

@ericukk Are you adding the feeds on the web and then refreshing the app, or are you adding all feeds in the app? And when you say the feeds showed up, do you mean the articles from those feeds, the feeds in the drawer, or both? Any screenshots or further details may help. Thanks!

Apologies for the incomplete details; I created the issue in a hurry.

  1. I added the feed to FreshRSS via the web interface:

  1. After refreshing the app, the feeds are not appearing in the drawer, and no articles from the feed are visible:

@ericukk no problem. Thanks for the screenshots. I believe this may be because Capy will fetch articles from the reading list when synced which is why the 351 is consistent between both but the Julia Evans blog is missing. Let me see if that's the case and if I can fix how new feeds are synced.

I was able to reproduce this bug by trying to refresh a folder instead of the "All" filter. I made change to how folders are refreshed so it will include new feeds going forward (#742). I'll include that in the next release and keep you updated here.
