Context Path duplicated

I haven't had a chance to dig into it as I thought I'd quickly try ng_2.6_2.10 version 0.5.0.

With no changes to my code except for changing version of ng in my pom file I now get 404 not found error "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://localhost:8081/bc/bc/classpath/net/liftmodules/ng/js/liftproxy-0.5.0.js" Note that the context path /bc is repeated twice.

If I point browser to http://localhost:8081/bc/classpath/net/liftmodules/ng/js/liftproxy-0.5.0.js (i.e. only one /bc then liftproxy js file is found. Not sure if this is related to prior context path issue or not but thought I'd mention it.

Just did a quick test on versions. 0.4.5 and 0.4.6 work as expected. 0.4.7 and 0.5.0 show the same error of duplicating context path - hope this helps narrow it down.

Thanks for reporting this. 0.4.7 has an attempt at correcting another path-related issue. We thought it wouldn't break you, but looks like it indeed did. 👎

I'll try taking a look at this tonight. I may need to create a test bed so I can do a better job of keeping this at bay.

Which web container are you using? When I revert the changes you originally proposed, i.e. put a slash at the front of the URL for the js file, I am able to run my test war file in jetty in a non-root context.

I'm using jetty was testing using eclipse and maven.

It's no longer giving exception of not finding liftproxy.js so that is good. I will test in more detail first thing tomorrow morning.

Yep, that's some new stuff. It got added for supporting head.js, and that context path is what makes your ajax call work. 👍

Hey @voetha, if you get this message, can you verify that 0.5.2-SNAPSHOT works for you too? Just in case my testing isn't adequate.

Sorry for answering late. I'm camping at the moment and so internet access is rare. The projects i were able to test seem to work fine using 0.5.2-SNAPSHOT.

I haven't run extensive tests across entire project but 0.5.2-SNAPSHOT appears to be working well with no side effects - I think it's good to go.
