Issues with exception panic, initialisation delayed #3385

I had issues with my AI on the edge that monitors my gasmeter. It ran for months with no problems. The last 2 days it had issues. After changing the Digit ROI procesing Model to dig-class100-0173-s2-q (it was 0168 before), the device is running again.
Is there a chance to "monitor" the device to get that error in Home Assistant? I just noticed it as there was no gas change in HA.
Any idea how to get an alert or notification?

If you don't use yet, I suggest to use the Homeassistant integration

I've had the same behaviour and this occurs with an update of the version. The solution was to create a full new config file because in the old config file are legacy settings with no support on newer versions.
Once the new, empty config file was there, the device was fully working again.

This makes no sense because you would first have to go to the configuration page and the errors will be displayed there anyway.
The correct way would be to let the ESP32 do the checking itself and if the model doesn't exist, to let him use an available model.
