Similar to the OttoMatic translation, this pull request translates all strings.

I've translated KEEP-AWAY TAG literally to SCHIVA IL CONTRASSEGNO which is Avoid the tag/stay away from the tag but I see that the french translation is CHAT LÉPREUX, which is Leprosy cat. Can you explain the choice?

Leprosy is a disease from bacteria that causes noticeable physical changes in the body, and a long time ago it was generally understood that people with it were to be avoided at all costs or you could catch it yourself. I think that's the "Keep away" part. I don't know French super well myself, so might be totally wrong, and I don't have a clue about the cat part.

That's what I thought too, although honestly it doesn't look nice when you read the string in the game and picture in your head.

Thanks for the improved Italian translation @orazioedoardo! I'll merge it when I have time.

The game's original French translation used "chat lépreux" and I just kept it that way. @CoolCat467 is correct about the "lépreux" part. I agree that it's a bit too metal for the tone of the game and I should change that in a future version.

For what it's worth, I think the original Italian translation used a reference to leprosy as well. It's still in the HTML manual that ships with the game. Weird translation choice!

As for why it says "chat" (meaning "cat"), it's simply because tag is known as "the cat game" in parts of France. Children say "c'est toi le chat" (you're the cat now) for "tag, you're it".

What about chat-cun sa peau?

Oh I see, It does. Although the in-game translations are quite off. "KEEP-AWAY TAG" -> "MODIFICA DI LEPER" (meaning "leproy edit") and "STAMPEDE TAG" -> "MODIFICA DI FUGA PRECIPITOSA" (meaning "hasty escape edit").

The HTML translations look better. I'm thinking about for a bit to find a compromise and change the in game text.

It's a pun on "chacun sa peau" (every man for himself)

Merged. Grazie mille!

By the way @orazioedoardo, we can also localize the ordinals (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc).
From what I understand, in Italian that should be 1°, 2°, 3° (Brog) and 1ª, 2ª, 3ª (Grag). Can you confirm?

Also keys in the keyboard configuration are not localized, but are in the gamepad configuration.

Hey @orazioedoardo, I'm wrapping up a new Pangea port and I wonder if you'd like to review the Italian localization before I make it public. That way, the initial release would ship with decent Italian text. I couldn't find how to contact you privately, so feel free to send an email to the address on my profile if you like. Thanks!

@jorio Sure, would you temporary add me to the repo for review? I’ll send a pull request if necessary.
