It seems like a great idea, but I don't see any recent commits.

Zach- I'd be super supportive if someone forks it and takes over
maintainership, but I won't have time to devote to the project in the near
future.

Good to hear! I'm not volunteering to do so yet, but was just curious. I'll make a fork if I have any ideas.
